Hello LORD, it's me again, I feel your presence near
I thank you LORD for blessing me, today and throughout the year.
I'd like to ask a favor LORD, like so many times before.
Without my even asking, YOU know, my heart's an open door.
When I'm depressed and lonely, and everything goes wrong
Remind me LORD, YOU'RE always there, YOU'VE been there all along.
Show me LORD, when confusion reigns, the path YOU'D have me take,
That leads to understanding, away from pain and heartache.
Forgive me LORD when I complain, guess I do that a lot.
Remind me of the things I have, and not what I haven't got.
I'm not hungry, and I'm not cold, I'm broke, but LORD I'm free.
Show me ways to help someone less fortunate than me.
LORD, I'm blessed in countless ways, each day the list grows longer.
Make me mindful of all these things, and make my faith grow stronger.
Thank you for my family, my friends and loved ones all.
For firmer ground that I may stand, for lifting me when I fall.
And LORD I make one more request, when my time on earth runs out,
cleanse me for that "special day", that I won't be left out
Guess that wraps it up for now, 'til next time I'll just say.
Thank YOU LORD, for everything, every day is "Thanksgiving Day".
