A SONG OF SUMMER LOVE
 SWAMPETTA ([email protected])

We met under the moon so full.
The summer breeze like honey.
Me full of beer, you full of bull
You borrowed some of my money.

We lay on the sand, happily kissing
You held me, oh so tight!
While my wallet went off missing
I went stone broke that night.

Your eyes are just like pools of blue,
Full of chlorine and dead bugs.
You stood like a pine, strong and true
Til the chainsaw gave you hugs.

Your hair gleamed. Shiny, blonde.
Your lips said "Kiss me, please?"
Didnt know that Id been conned
And youd taken my car keys.

"Wait", you said. "Be right back!"
Unfolding yourself from me.
Into the night, all velvety black.
I thought you went to pee.

I sit and wait the rising sun
And feel the sinking of my soul.
Youd better know how to run.
You drove off in the car I stole!

Dont go charging on my plastic.
See, mine it never was.
The guy who had it, so fantastic!
Didnt know he was the fuzz!

Summer love passes all too quick.
Heartbroken, yet once more.
Hungover and Im feeling sick.
But, youre handcuffed on the floor.

Explain yourself to the jailor,
And here I am, so down..
Hold it!! Theres another Sailor.
"Hi Sweetcheeks! New in town?"
