LIMERICKS BY PAUL
 Paul ([email protected])

Paul writes limericks using the 6 word challenges from the message board.
A limerick is a light or humorous poem of five lines.

The words: sixteen, elaborate, homeopathy, calm, Camembert, terse

With sixteen pounds of old Camembert,
Martha Stewart was calm - no despair.
Elaborate plans,
Terse comments on flans,
And homeopathy cure for frizzed hair.

With the Chippendales framed behind glass,
"My dream's answered" said a frantic lass.
"They perform like clockwork,
And I will go bezerk,
If I smear egg-salad on his keister."

The words: Chopin, artist, foolscap, mosquito, translucent, mosey

George Sand wrote a note on foolscap to Chopin.
"My translucent negligee, I'm hopin',
Is not mosquito netting.
The artist in me is betting
You'll mosey over. You can tell by gropin'"

There once was a fictional dromedary.
His fictional caretaker gives commentary:
"Scooter is tuneful,
When fed a spoonful.
Quell his appetite with elixir of cherry."

In the alleway to Doolittle's house
He had a conversation with a mouse.
"Atop the pyramid,
Don't bother the aphid.
He's doing 'tuneful' things with his spouse."

At this junxture, let Homer suppose
What's the hurry to write banal prose.
Picture the orchid.
Then picture your kid.
Determine which words to juxtapose.

A pettifogging attorney named MacGruder,
(Professional Courtesy) - defended a barracuda.
"Avoid the gumshoe
Or anyone who
Doesn't think you're a gentle, cobwebby dude, eh?"
