A little babe was born one August day,
She was destined to grow and learn just what to say.
She was cute and fair of skin,
A delight to Mom, Dad and all her kin.
You never know what a child will grow up to be,
It is a game of wait and see.
This little one grew and grew some more,
And soon she was out the door.
Over the years she changed a lot,
No longer was she just a tot.
A fine young women she became,
And was certainly no plain Jane.
A business woman with an antique store,
She couldn't have asked for anything more.
Her store front window is a work of art,
She knows her stuff and is very smart.
One never knows what that little bundle holds in store,
But a proud Mom and Dad couldn't have asked for more.
