Dawn tried to spend as much time as she possibly could with AJ and Arianna that last week. Denise offered to take Arianna overnight the day before Dawn left so she and AJ could have a quiet night alone. AJ planned something special, but he wouldn't tell her what.

Dawn left to take Arianna to Denise's and AJ started on his surprise. When she came back, she opened the front door and the aroma of Italian cooking flooded the house.

"It smells wonderful!" Dawn exclaimed, walking towards the kitchen.

AJ came running out of the kitchen.

"Don't come in here! Go away, go somewhere!" He said, shooing her out of the kitchen.

"Okay, fine then. I see how you are", Dawn joked and walked upstairs to their bedroom.

She sat on the bed and looked into the mirror. She played around with her hair, putting it up, leaving it down, making pouty lips at herself in the mirror.

"I want to look good for Alex tonight. This is going to be our last night together for some time and I want it to be special".

She got up and walked into her closet, looking through her clothes.

"Damn, I didn't realize I had so many clothes!" She said to herself, pushing past more and more dresses. Her eyes finally settled on a sheer baby blue short dress with a low back. She took it out and threw it on the bed, then went to take a quick bath. When she got out, she slowly slipped the dress on.

"Hmm, I haven't worn this since before Arianna was born. I'm pretty impressed that it fits," she said, admiring her shape in the mirror. The dress clung to her in all the right spots and came down very low in the back.

"Alex loves this dress", she smiled again as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, then spritzed a small amount of perfume on her wrists and the nape of her neck. She then put her makeup on and did her hair. She put it up on top of her head with a few stands hanging down around her face. She admired her reflection in the mirror.

"I'm going to blow his mind tonight," she said to herself with a smirk.

Just then, the bedroom door opened and AJ walked in the room.

"Hey, don't you know how to knock? A girl could be naked in here, you know," she joked.

"That's what I was hoping for," he said as he appeared around the corner of the closet door, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw her.

"Mmm, mmm, mmm...you look incredible," he said, stunned. "All this for me?"

"Actually, no, I have a date," Dawn teased. "He should be here soon".

"Yeah, well I have a surprise for him when he gets here," AJ walked up behind Dawn, put his arms around her waist and kissed the back of her neck.

"You need to stop that, you know what that does to me", she said, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath.

"Uh-huh," he said, still kissing her neck.

"Alex, please don't do this", she begged. "You know I can't resist you, especially when you smell as good as you do right now".

"You're right," he said reluctantly pulling away from her. "We have all night for that," he drew her back to him. "And believe me, it will be ALL night", he growled in her ear.

"Promise?" She said seductively in his ear while rubbing his chest.

"Baby, if you don't stop I'm gonna throw you on that bed right now and we won't be leaving this room for the rest of the night. Come on, dinner is ready," he said, taking her hand. "But you need to be blindfolded first".

Dawn gave him a puzzled look.

"Don't ask any questions, just trust me and take my hand. I'll lead you there," he said, blindfolding her.

She took his hand and let him lead her outside to the patio.

'What the hell is he doing? We're outside,' she thought to herself.

AJ stood behind her and took off her blindfold. She was shocked at what she saw. Right in front of her was a beautiful dinner laid out on a big blanket in the grass. There were candles everywhere around the blanket, a bottle of wine in the middle, surrounded by strawberries and melted chocolate.

"Oh my God, Alex, I can't believe you did all this," she exclaimed.

"I wanted to do something special for your last night home for awhile...and this is just the beginning," he said, giving her a smirk, taking her hand and leading her to the blanket.

They sat and had a romantic dinner. They sipped on wine and fed each other playfully. Everytime AJ would feed Dawn something, he would lean in and place a soft, sensuous kiss on her lips. After they finished with dessert, they sat and watched the sunset. Dawn leaned up against AJ's chest and closed her eyes. She let every sense she had savor this moment since it would be awhile before they could have another one.

"I have something for you," AJ said to her softly.

"Alex, you are just too much, you really didn't have to," he placed his finger over her lips to quiet her and pulled out two gift wrapped boxes. One small one and one medium sized one.

"This one first", he said, handing her the small box.

She opened the box and saw the most beautiful necklace she had ever seen, it was a cross with a tiny diamond in it...a smaller version of the one AJ always wore.

"Alex, it's beautiful", she said as he took it out of the box and placed it around her neck.

"I'm glad you like it. You see that diamond? I had them take a diamond out of my cross necklace and put it in there".

Dawn looked at him, about to cry.

"See?" He said, showing her the spot in his necklace where it was missing a tiny diamond. She laughed as she choked back tears.

"Thank you so much, it's so beautiful," she said, leaning over and wrapping her arms around his neck.

"And now, the item that means the most to me," he handed her the medium sized box.

She opened the box and peered inside. There was a small blanket sitting in the box with frayed edges. She looked up at him with a puzzled look on her face. He laughed.

"I know you don't know what that is, it's my blankie. I never told you this, but I've had it since I was a little baby. I take it on tour with me all the time. I thought you may get a little lonely on the road, I know how it can be. Every time you hold it, think of me and remember that no matter where you go or how far apart we are, I will always be with you".

By this time Dawn had tears streaming down her face. She leaned over and buried her face in his neck and sobbed.

"I love you so much Alex," she said, between sobs, clutching the blanket.

"I love you, too, baby. Don't ever forget that," he said, bringing her face to his and placing a tender kiss on her lips.

"Oh, and I have something for you," she stated, jumping up and wiping the tears from her eyes. She ran into the house and came back out carrying a small box.

"I hope you like it, it's kind of corny," she said, handing the box to him.

"Nothing can be cornier than giving you my blankie," he said, laughing, opening the box.

"Wow", he said under his breath when he saw the ring inside.

"It's a promise ring, if you look real close, you can see that it's engraved," Dawn said, blushing.

He squinted to read what it said, then read it aloud, "Until we are one...all my love, Dawn". He looked over at Dawn and didn't know what to say.

"I know, it's corny," she said, looking down at the ground. "I just wanted you to know that I am serious about marrying you, and more than anything, I do want to be your wife, when the time is right".

"Baby, it's not corny at all, it's beautiful, I love it," he said, placing the ring on the ring finger of his left hand. "I'll never take it off," he said, leaning in to kiss her. "Until we get married and it gets replaced by my wedding band".

He pulled her closer to him and kissed her once again. When their lips parted, they looked into each other's eyes and AJ caressed her cheek with his finger.

"I want to make tonight special for you," he whispered.

"You already have," she whispered back and kissed him lightly on the lips.

They continued kissing as AJ lay Dawn out underneath him. He ran his tongue along her upper lip slowly. He wanted to make love to her, but he wanted tonight to be different. He wanted it to be something that Dawn remembered on those lonely nights on the road.

She ran her nails down his back. She loved the way he felt, she especially loved the way his lips felt on hers. He knew how to please her, he knew exactly what to do to drive her crazy, he didn't need to ask, but for some reason, tonight, he did.

"Tell me what you want, baby," he whispered in her ear in his low, raspy voice.

Dawn tried to think, tried to form a coherent sentence, but she just couldn't. The way he was touching her, the way his lips felt on hers, the way his tongue danced around her mouth and lingered on all the right places on her body, was almost more than she could bear.

He slowly ran his hand up her thigh, only to find that she wasn't wearing any panties. He let put a soft moan, he could feel his excitement growing.

"Mmmm, baby, what are you trying to do to me", he growled, still running his hand up and down her thigh. "You're driving me crazy."

"Shut up", she growled, grabbing the back of his head, pulling him to a passionate kiss.

AJ was shocked, he didn't know what had gotten into his fiance', but he liked it. This was definitely the night to see just how far he could push her. He let his hand stroke her thigh once again, this time not stopping until he reached the soft, moist opening between her legs. He heard her moan as he thrust his tongue into her mouth. He probed one finger into her and felt her nails dig into his back. He then entered two fingers into her. She pulled her lips from his and roughly bit his neck. He let out a deep moan and pinned her arms down next to her head.

"You want it rough, do you?" He growled at her and gently bit her neck. He reached down and unbuckled his belt, kicking his pants off.

"Fuck me, Alex", Dawn begged.

He reached over and picked up a strawberry, dipping it in the chocolate. He brought it to her lips and placed it in her mouth. She took a bite of it and felt the juice from the strawberry run down the side of her face. AJ brought his face closer to hers and licked it up. He ran the strawberry down her neck, making a trail so he could lick it up. He reached over and took another strawberry and dipped it in chocolate. He brought it to her lips once again, only to yank it away at the last minute.

"No, no, no", he teased.

"Alex, please," Dawn begged.

He took the strawberry and ran it along her moist inner folds. He heard her moan his name in ecstasy. He lowered his mouth and ever so lightly licked up the chocolate. She stopped moving and his eyes shot open. She reached for the candle once again. As much as he hated pain, especially possibly scarring pain, he loved this, and she knew it.

Dawn started to move up and down his aching member once again, he watched her tip the candle and drip the candle wax onto a different spot on his chest. He moaned loudly, then snatched the candle from her hand and laid it down next to them. He grabbed her and flipped her on her back. He pinned her arms above her head once again.

"You have no idea what you're in for," he growled in her ear.

Without another word, he thrust into her roughly, both of them moaning in unison.

"Does that feel good? Is this how you wanna be fucked?" He asked in her ear.

"Oh baby," she said, pulling him closer to her. "Harder, I want it harder".
