Note: Quebec was chosen to play in the Memorial Cup although they lost the in the QMJHL finals to Moncton because Moncton was to be the host of the Memorial Cup in 2006. They took Moncton's spot as QMJHL's Champions. Mocton played in the tourney (and lost to Quebec in the Memorial tournament final) as host.

The original Quebec Reparts began play in 1969. They won 5 Presidents Cups and won the Memorial Cup once.. They played in Quebec until 1985.

President's Cup is the QMJHL's Championship Trophy, not the NHL's annual trophy given to the team with the best record.

Memorial Cup is an annual trophy given to the champion of the Canadian Hockey League. The CHL consists of the OHL (Ontario Hockey League), QMJHL (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and the WHL (Western Hockey League) The champions of each league and the host team play in the Memorial Cup Tournament. The Memorial Cup is the top prize for Junior men's ice hockey.
