Hello and welcome to Penix Sports. My name is Brandon Penix and I'm the creator of this site. My goal with this is to provide a place where you can get as much information as possible at one website. Adding individual pages for the thousands of professional teams in the United States and Canada is a long and tedious process. I've been working on the site during some of my free time since sometime last year, and it's looking more and more complete, but there is still a ton to do. My goal as of now is to have the website complete by January of 2008. That doesn't mean the site won't be available until then....If your one of the few people that have checked out the site...use the button right above this and checkout some of the teams and leagues that have been added so far. That list will grow in time. If the site doesn't have you team, don't fret, I'm adding more and more teams as the days pass. If you find that your team has been added, but something is incorrect, PLEASE contact me at: [email protected] and tell me about it. Mistakes happen all the time and they will surely happen as I enter information to the site. If you have idea's about what the site should have, send me an email as well.
If you wondering why I am taking the time to create a site that most likely very few people will see is because I really want to see if I can actually do it. Creating this site is a huge undertaking by myself, far bigger that I thought when I first got the account on Geocities. It's extremely challenging and fairly time consuming, but I'm a huge sports fan, and making my own site that has all the major professional leagues in North America, would be something I think I could be very proud of myself when everything is said and done. To me, it's just a fun hobby that allows me to learn even more about sports. If I can go online and quickly find information that I want about a certain team or league, than I'll deem this site a sucess. If other people find this site and can get the information they want from it too......it's all that much better.
