I've always collected comics, but always batman and wolverine and other comicslike that. Never any wimpy boyscouts... I'm all about the anti-hero. You know the Frank Miller comic book noir type stuff. No good guys versus bad, just bad versus worse. I think it's beacause I'm no good guy myself and thus I can't realte to those stories. I could never follow all the rules when trying to stop someone. I remember reading "Beowulf" when i was 12, I've always liked older mythology because it's all kill or be killed, you never see someone get knocked out. I have a bad habit of fighting in a similar manner, beat the person until enough people can restrain me or the person is bloody and not moving. I don't fight all that often but it used to happen alot when I was little. Oh well, check out the comic book links and you might find something cool. |
