Let's see, I vote for the green party most of the time, but for the record my political affiliation is that I am a Limited Federalist. I truly believe that the powers of our federal government should be lessened into a manageable level and that states can take care of themselves for the most part. I also believe in having as close to a direct democracy as possible, depending upon the size of a societies population. I believe that no one should be denied an opportunity based upon another persons beliefs.
Spirituality:
Without going into religion, (as I believe the subjects to be separate) I tend to read a lot about philosophy and spirituality. I am a pantheist, but if you were guessing Buddhist, your wrong, (not that there's anything wrong with the Buddhist faith). I believe in fate very heavily and I believe in reincarnation, (in a way). I life and choice are both sacred and I feel the unexamined life truly isn't worth living.
Economics:
I believe in a compromise between capitalism and socialism, but favor the latter. I think that while The United States, does not do enough to help it's people, Countries such as Canada do too little to ensure growth of the economy. I do not believe corporations should be given rights as if they were people and if the U.S. truly had a free market, the government would keep its nose clean and let bankrupt companies, (other than transportation companies) die.
Family:
I have wanted a family of my own for as long as I can remember. I want the whole corny picture, A wife, several kids, and a few pets to annoy. You know the whole, owning a home having the family pet, living in the suburbs, driving a huge family car cliche. It seems the older I get, the more I wish I was done with school, just so that I could start a family. I am the only guy I know who has possible names picked out for kids that aren't going to be born for years.
