Adelie Penguin
They are the stereotype penguin most people think of. Adelie Penguins are one of the few penguins to live in Antarcica. They eat fish and squid mostly.
Macaroni Penguin
This penguin has yellow whisker like feathers over its eyes. It looks very much like the Snares Penguin.
Little (Fairy, Little-Blue, Blue) Penguin
It is about 35-40 cm. in hight. They are curently invading the Australian harbors in Sydny. They live in New Zeland and in Australia.

Megelenic Penguin
Is my favorete, it eats fish and squid. It lives in Australia, South Aferica  and new zeland. it looks very much like the "jackass" penguin.
"jackass" penguin
this penguin got its name because it sounds much like a donkey when it squawks. it eats fish and squid. and it lives in South Africa.
Emperor Penguin
This penguin is one of the few to live in antarcica. This penguin dives 1750 feet below the surface just to find good squid. This penguin is on average 3 feet tall when it is fully grown up, therfor it is the largest penguin.
Galapagos Penguin
Is an indangered penguin. It is the only penguin to live in the northern hemisphere, since it lives on the galapagos island one island is roughly 5-50 miles above the equator.
Yellow-Eyed Penguin
This penguin lives in New Zeland and is becoming endangered.

King Penguin
The king penguin is much like the emperor penguin but just a little smaller.
chinstrap penguin
This penguin looks like it has a helmet strap on its head but it is just feathers. It lives in the sub-antarctic islands. it is very noisy.
Gentoo Penguin
This penguin is easly identified with its part white head.
Snares Penguin
This penguin is only found in the snares islands south of New Zeland.
Royal Penguin
This penguin only lives on one island in south Australia. As far as we know the are no royal penguins in captivity.
Erect-Crested Penguin
This penguin lives in sub antarcic islands south of New Zeland. To see them you would have to boat around the islands.
Fiordland Penguins
Only live in a section of wilderness in south New Zeland. There habitat is in danger because man is moving in.
Rockhopper Penguin
This penguin is the most common of the crested penguin group.
Humboldt Penguin
This penguin lives off the coast of South America. This penguin is dropping in population numbers.
