Also to Kain, who gave me the idea to do enemy guides for games I want to do complete guides for! (---------------------) | INTRODUCTION/FAQ | (---------------------) Hello, Psycho Penguin back here for yet another guide, this time for one of my favorite "old school" games yet, Dragon Warrior 7. Such a complex game, very time consuming, but very fun. I just completed the monster book today (119 hours) and decided to reward myself for my hard work by making this enemy listing. The term "FAQ" is really redundant in this case, because I don't really get any questions about this guide, so I'm just going to write some questions that some MAY have about this. Why an enemies list? - I have always wanted to do a complete guide for Dragon Warrior 7. However, due to my busy work schedule, as well as social life and crap like that, I won't have time to do a complete guide for this massive game. I still wanted to write for it, though, and due to the influx of enemy guides popping up for the game, I decided to do one for Dragon Warrior 7. Usually you do the enemy listings in ABC order, why the change? - Dragon Warrior 7 has a monster list which lists them inn numerical order, so I decided to do it in this order so it would be easier on me. Am I going to see any future enemies lists from you? - I started a Dark Cloud 2 enemies list, but may never fiinish it. Other than that.. maybe Grandia Xtreme. That's about it. Most of the games I want to write for, I probably eventually will. How come the game doesn't put spaces between enemy names and skill names? Like "Cat Mage" is "CatMage". - The game tries to be as "old school" as possible, and tthat includes keeping enemy names and skills without spaces. Back in the NES days, you could only it in so many characters, so they didn't want to use spaces. She always supports me, and without her, I might not be writing today. She always gives me motivation. I'm sure she doesn't like the idea of me doing an enemy listing, especially after I told her I wouldn't, but when I tell her why I am sure she will understand. :) - Dan Gordon for introducing me to this great game. His vvaluable RPG tip always helped me in this game. It may have taken me 119 hours just because I LEVELED UP FOR SIX HOURS ALL THE BLOODY TIME. :) Plus he rocks and is my best GameFAQs friend. - All the other people who have done enemy guides, for thhe inspiration to do one myself. - Prima's official guide, for the stats that can't be fouund in the monster book. - You, for reading. GameFAQs, for posting. Enix, for makiing. You know the deal. (---------------------) | CONCLUSION | (---------------------) Well, that was certainly fun. Interesting, yet fun. Who knows, maybe the next time I complete a monster book I will do one of these again. This is a very awesome game, and I hope this monster listing helped you. If you need any help finding a monster, feel free to email me. Maybe I'll add in a section with how to find hard-to-find enemies, that doesn't sound too bad.. - Psycho Penguin (c) 2004-forever
