School: Shore High
Backstory:
A high-ranking student in Shore High's marine biology class,
Yasuichi Mizuhashi knew many things about the sea and its animals.
Usually spending more time studying than running, Yasuichi wasn't
what you'd consider a fit person for Shore High's track and field
team. However, in a strange twist of fate, he was put on the
track and field team when he auditioned for it even though he did
not do much running before this. Unsure if he could win, he
brought two eels from his marine biology class' aquarium to use
to shock himself to gain extra speed during the heat of the
marathon. Will he help win the marathon, thus becoming somewhat
of a dark horse, or will be lose a lot, thus proving he's better
off studying how whales blow water out of their bodies?

Stats:

Attack: **
Defense: ***
Speed: **
Stamina: ***
Jump: ***

Special moves:

Special move #1
Move name: Eel Bash
What it does: Yasuichi steps forward swinging an eel downward
doing two hits, then swings the other eel upward.
Damage: *
Speed: ***
Range: Medium (**)
Notes/Strategy:
Although it comes out at average speed and with medium
range, the move is very weak and the recovery's a bit noticable.
At least it comes out fast enough to be an effective normal
combo ender!

Special move #2
Move name: Electro Blast
What it does: The eels send a big electric shock through Yasuichi,
causing him to become faster for a short time. In the water, the
eels will wrap around Yasuichi and shock him, causing electricity
to go out from him and zap anybody near him.
Effect: *** (** underwater)
Speed: *** (**** underwater)
Duration: *** (** underwater)
Range: Short (*) (Medium (**) underwater)
Notes/Strategy:
This move can hit people for * damage if they're very close to
him, but that's not the main use of this. The main use is to
increase Yasuichi's speed. When this is done, his speed will become
****. However, it will also lower his stamina to **, meaning that
he'll get tired out much quicker. When underwater, the move becomes
more of an attacking move: The move gains range and can hit multiple
people near him for *** damage, but his speed will only be raised to
***. There will be no stamina modification in that case, though.

Special move #3
Move name: Eel Seeker
What it does: The eels both swim out seperately to the two characters
nearest Yasuichi, then wrap around those two characters and shock
them briefly for damage. If only one person is there, they both
go over to that person, wrap around them, and shock 'em.
Damage: ***
Speed: **
Range: Long (***)
Notes/Strategy:
Before we go on, I'm going to mention that this can ONLY be done
underwater. Anyway, what underwater attack would be better than a
homing projectile move to attack two unlucky people? It tracks pretty
well and does sufficient damage, but the eels move pretty slowly. As
such, it's possible to move around and evade the eels for an amount of
time before they give up and go back to Yasuichi. However, it's a
nice little something to try every now and then.

Special move #4
Move name: Electro Torpedo
What it does: Similar to the Electro Blast, but this is an attack now:
Yasuichi raises his arms above him briefly before the eels wrap around
him, and while they shock him, he dog-paddles quickly across the sea
and zaps anybody foolish enough to swim in his way!
Damage: **
Speed: ***
Range: Long (***)
Notes/Strategy:
This has a bit of start-up, does less damage than usual, and can
ONLY be used underwater, but you can direct Yasuichi during his little
electric swimming gig, it goes very far, and there's very little
recovery time. This can also be used to propel you into the lead
underwater if you wish.

Character strategy:
Yasuichi is a strange character. His stats aren't strange (he
has average Defense, Stamina, and Jumping, but below-average Attack
and Speed,) but other aspects of him are. On the ground, the eels
give him extra range on his normal attacks, but in turn, he's the
only character who cannot pick up weapons since his hands are too
occupied. Underwater, his physical attack changes to one eel
spinning around once to hit the enemy twice, and it's also the only
place where he can use his two best "attacking" moves. However,
he can increase his own speed by shocking himself, but it's better
on the ground than underwater. Overall, you should move more often
on the ground, but attack more often underwater.
