Stage Sheet

School name: City High

Description:
Starting line begins right at the school area, just like in the other
schools. The race begins from that point, leads you right outside the
school and onto the massive streets. First off, the racers would pass
through a long highway, in which a couple of Flash Cars drive off to harm
you in your way. Which leaves the racer to either jump or go on the
sidewalk. But even the sidewalks are going to have a random Biker or a
Mad Dog that stops the racer in his/her way. After that, the racers will
have to stop on some kind of a fork in the road. This is where you can
select which route to pass through.

ROUTE #1: This one leads through the building construction area. In this
one, the racers have got to be careful to avoid the packs of cement on the
ground, cuz it causes the racer to slow down for a bit. Not to mention
there's a bunch of falling bricks thanks to the carelessness of some of
the Construction Workers there. Speaking about the workers, they'll be a
pain to deal with as well. There's also an abundance of Punk Rockers, Phat
Fattys and BS:FM Fanatics to fend off as well. Before the end of this
route for a bit, there will be a support beam coming down half-way of the
screen. If your racer's got a good jumping stat of 3 stars or higher, you
may pass through this mini alternative route to reach the building section
of the race. If not? Well...you'd be heading off to the next section of
the stage, anyway. =P

ROUTE #1 - ALTERNATE: Right after being headed up by the support beam,
you'd be running slowly yet carefully through this large construction
building. There are more Construction Workers who don't want you in their
way, and a couple of support beams might rush into you and knock you
downwards. What makes this route special is that there is an abundance of
useful items and/or weapons you may obtain here, which can very well mean
a victory for you in the race.

ROUTE #2: More Highway fun. This time you have to avoid the strange yet
numerous manholes that are in the area. There's also a possibilty of more
cars and bikers passing by your way . A couple of Senile Old Women would
be there too, so don't let them cross the road, cuz they're deadly!
Completing this route will lead you to the same section which you're going
to go through after the 1st route.

Now, after completing any of the routes, the racers would enter a massive
building. Why? I dunno. Guess it's part of the race. Once entering the
building, you'd be climbing up the stairs for a race to the top, just
like what occurs in Prison High. Or if you're fast enough, a racer can
take the elevator and go up to the top at instant speed. Be careful
though, there is a 1/5 probability that the elevator might crash down,
losing the racer his lead in the race and half of his/her stamina!

Now, on top of the building, it's time for the racers to show their daring
skills. They must run and jump from building to building till they reach
the desired checkpoint. It's not an easy task, as there are a couple of
Paratroopers who would like to stop you and make you fall down. Pigeon
Armies may come attacking you if you came onto their turf, and funnily
enough, a bunch of those Asylum Maniacs are there to confuse you and make
you fall off. Do note that if you fell, you'd have to start right from the
building you jumped off from last, and you lose 1/6th of your lifebar.

After reaching the checkpoint, now it's time to jump over the highest
building in the city! How could you race for the lead there? Well, there
will be about 4 or 5 Umbrella items that would be thrown down while
jumping, so this is your chance to grab one and land safely. If you
haven't, well, it's goodbye to 1/5ths of your lifebar and losing a couple
of valuable seconds in the race.

Finally, the racers rush off to the streets again....and are chased by
Renegade Trucker! He's mad. He's big. And what's worse, he has a massive
truck that fills almost all of the screen. Now, it's your job to run as
fast as hell and hope to not get hit by the trucks. A bunch of manholes,
Punk Rockers, Bikers, BS:FM Fanatics, Mimes and randomly Ryuuhaku Todoh
(!!) might crash into your way, so avoid them like heck! There might be a
speed boosting item here or there, so do take advantage of it! After a
while, the truck stops as the racers reach the finish line.

Enemies found: Flash Car, Bikers, Mad Dog, Punk Rocker, Phat Fatty, Asylum
Maniac, Construction Workers, BS:FM Fanatics, Paratrooper, Pigeon Armies,
Senile Old Woman, Mimes, Ryuuhaku Todoh, Renegade Trucker
Weapons found: All
Items found: All
Traps found: Manholes in 2nd and 3rd Highway based areas.

Strategy/Comments: Pure obstacle course is what City High is about. You
need to be more reliant on your jumping and avoiding stuff in this course,
while maintaining enough speed to be in the lead. The building jump off is
a bit tricky, due to that there are some buldings which are far, and some
which can be easily hopped over. Characters with good jumping skills or
speed skills (3 stars or higher) can go through this course with no
problems whatsoever. Slower or bigger characters, though, must be a little
more careful in this course.
