Backstory: A Korean exchange student in Kings' High, Sook used to be
a flippant and carefree street scrapper until he nearly lost his
life from a thug packing a knife. After this, he's been strictly
taught to only fight battles against those who throw the first punch
if he simply can't walk away. Usually he adheres to this unless he's
in a bad mood. Unfortunately, with the pressure being put on him to
perform in the national competition, he's been in one of the foulest
moods he's evern been in. So much for track and field being a
violence-free sport he could concentrate his energies into, huh?

Special moves:

Special move #1
Move name: First Blood Pact
What it does: Sook stands still and catches his breath momentarily.
If anyone hits him with a Short- or Mid-ranged attack during this,
he'll throw them into the ground in front of them and give 'em a
nice, hard punch to remember him by.
Damage: *****
Speed: *
Range: Short (*)
Notes/Strategy: Sook's main move, and it's very useful. In fact,
almost too useful. It's basically a counter; if Sook is hit by any
Short or Medium-range attack when performing this, he'll see to it
that they'll regret it (and he won't take any damage either!). If
he's not attacked, you just wasted a couple of seconds for no gain;
Sook doesn't recover stamina while doing this. It hurts, but its
biggest weakness is that it takes a very long time to perform. This
often turns Sook's great speed from an asset to something to make up
for this shortcoming. This is obviously not usable in combos.

Special move #2
Move name: Inspired Arrogance
What it does: Sook slows down, seemingly winded. If smacked by any
Short-range attack, he'll growl and pick up the pace again out of
annoyance. This translates to a partial stamina gauge refill.
Effect: ****
Speed: *****
Duration: *
Range: Short (*)
Notes/Strategy: This basically converts any damage delivered to Sook
as he seemingly slows down into stamina. The rate of
damage-to-stamina recharge is often in Sook's favor, but rememebr
that he's not that tough a guy in terms of taking damage. This only
works against Short range attacks that do damage. Like the above,
this can't be used in combos.

--
Character strategy: Sook is very fast off the starting line, often
putting him into head-to-head conflicts with any of the other fast
starters. His counter is made to dissuade people from attacking him
in the lead, but he'll often lose said lead when it's performed.
Despite his low stamina, he can easily catch a second wind in a
heartbeat versus aggressive short range-attack users by willingly
allowing himself to be hit with them using his other special move.
Despite the slowness of his special moves and lack of any usable
special moves for combos, he can KO people frighteningly quick. In
fact, if you're somehow in the lead, it should be your focus to KO
people with Sook's strong normal attacks. His lack of a good jump
prevents him from taking special shortcuts, but overall he's a
great combo of speed and strength with a "don't touch me" factor.

Introduction dialogue:
*An alley. Sook's walking up to you.*
Sook: Hey, you. I heard you were looking for trouble around these
parts. As far as I heard, you *are* trouble.
*He holds up a hand.*
Sook: Whoa. I'm not looking for a fight. Naw, it's the opposite. I
just wanted to see the legend myself. You've been really making the
rounds here, last I've heard.
*He points towards the area behind him.*
Sook: This here isn't safe, but someone's arranged for you to... race,
here. I've no idea who, but now that you're here...
*A dialog box pops up asking you if you accept his challenge or not*

Yes, I accept your challenge:
*Sook gives the thumbs up.*
Sook: Cool. Heh, let's get things started then. I think you're gonna
like this.
*start race*

No, I don't accept your challenge:
*Sook shakes his head, turns around, and walks away.*
Sook: Talk about a letdown. Well, if it consoles you, I was the first
to do that. Heh, really. Come back whenever you want to give it a run.
*goes back to opponent selection screen*

You win the race:
*Sook comes up running from behind you, catching his breath.*
Sook: Yep... you're everything they said you were. You've got the
potential to be the best there's ever been!
*He then turns to walk way*
Sook: Just... be careful around here. This really isn't anything you
can call a "good" neighborhood, but they'll probably leave you alone
once you show them what you can do!
*Ironically, he never elaborates on who was just waiting for you.*
*goes to point calculation screen*
*screen shows you beat that stage*

You lose the race:
*Sook appears with his arms crossed, shaking his head.*
Sook: You can't be the one they were talking about. You really aren't
much of anything... heh. Tread lightly.
*Sook turns to leave*
Sook: Don't worry about the guy I was talking about. He's not
interested in it now, but I'm always open for a rematch. You'll
probably have go through a lot of those at this rate!
*goes to point calculation screen*
