Backstory: Genevive comes from a long line of prestigious ballet dancers.
She wishes to carry on her family's legacy by enrolling in Madame
Poisson's dance school, the best in the country. She met all but one of
the school's rigid entrance standards: she had to be involved in at least
one school sports activity by the time she graduates. Being it was her
senior year, she desperately searched for something she could do before
the end of the year. All sports rosters at Queens High were completely
full save one - Track and Field.

Special moves:

Special move #1
Move name: Grand Allegro Pas Couru
What it does: Genevive very quickly takes five large, graceful leaps
forward, ending in a pose. Any obstacles in her path will be jumped over
automatically.
Effect: **
Speed: *****
Duration: *
Range: Long (***)
Notes/Strategy: Its name means "Large jumps performed to a quick, sharp
tempo to travel forward or away". Use this if there's a large group of
obstacles on the screen that Genevive needs to quickly clear. There's a
slight delay at the end while she poses before she can move again, but
the distance she travels more than makes up for the delay. However,
timing this move is everything - make sure she'll end up on something
solid because she is unable to stop during the move. This means if her
last jump will bring her over a hole on the course, you're better off not
doing this, otherwise Genevive's end pose will be in midair right before
she plummets downwards! In addition, if there's a raised area on the
course you'd rather avoid, don't perform this nearby as she'll
automatically leap up and onto the area.

Special move #2
Move name: Chass Arabesque Mange
What it does: Genevive leans forward on one leg with the other extended
straight behind her and spins forward like a top.
Damage: ***
Speed: ***
Range: Medium (**)
Notes/Strategy: Its name means "A sliding pose on one leg with the other
leg extended to the back that travels in a circle like a merry-go-round".
This has virtually no startup or end delay, since all she has to do is
lean over while she's jogging and lift up one leg. It's good for brushing
aside her competition, and it'll catch opponents the next space over on
both sides. Do this if someone with moderate speed's racing neck-and-neck
right beside you or if you're stuck in the middle of a crowd.

Special move #3
Move name: Cabriole Entrechat Frapp
What it does: Genevive grabs her nearest opponent and pushes them down.
She smoothly hops over and in front of them, performing three very fast
scissor kicks in midair which send her victim hurling backwards.
Damage: ***
Speed: ****
Range: Short (*)
Notes/Strategy: Its name means "A beating jump from one leg to the same
leg where both legs pass each other forward in the air, beating the legs
together to strike powerfully in a quick movement." It stops her progress
while she attacks, but it comes out quick and boosts her forward a bit
afterwards. It's best to use this to KO weak opponents or when she shares
a vast lead with one other character to put her up on top.
--
Character strategy: This prima ballerina is built for her art: great on
speed, stamina and jumps with less emphasis on fighting skills. All of
Genevive's moves are modified (but real) ballet steps. She isn't the
fastest sprinter or the highest jumper, but she can hold her own for a
longer period of time with her stamina stats, so she doesn't need to be!
She even has two decent attacks (if she needs them) that let her show her
prowess with beautiful style. Her best bet is to slide out in front of
the competition early on to avoid the heavy-hitters, then use her special
moves to take out the faster, weaker characters.

Introduction dialogue:
*Genevive is stretching her long legs in front of a mirror on a support
bar. She has her head turned back towards the screen*
Genevive: Oh, salut! I did not see you come in...
Genevive: Ah! You are the runner everyone speaks of, n'est-ce pas?
Genevive: Voulez-vous faire une course avec moi aujourd'hui?
*A dialog box pops up asking you if you accept her challenge or not*

Yes, I accept your challenge:

my dance practice!
*goes to point calculation screen*
