Hilltop High. With his top skills in street racing and familiarity with
cars, he won almost every perceivable race in his life. Since he found
out there's not a lot competition in the car racing scene, he decided to
join the school's Track & Field team to find a new challenge in street
racing...with his feet!

Special moves:

Special move #1
Move name: Gear Up
What it does: George's speed increases by *, while his stamina decreases
by *.
Effect: *
Speed: ****
Duration: *****
Range: Short (*)
Notes/Strategy: The first thing I should tell you is, this move is
permanent unless you execute it again, or execute Gear Down. A simple
move where George goes faster every time he executes it (to a max of
*****, mind you), but his stamina also drops as well (to a min of *).
Also, the faster he is, the longer it takes for him to stop completely,
or move sideways (as in real cars). However, he can jump farther. Use
this move along with Gear Down effectively to make George fast at the
right time. The most important note is that George will need to keep his
old speed for a while in order to go faster effectively (as in real cars).
If not, he'll go a bit slower, then pick up his pace.

Special move #2
Move name: Gear Down
What it does: George's speed decreases by *, while his stamina increases
by *.
Effect: *
Speed: ****
Duration: *****
Range: Short (*)
Notes/Strategy: *almost direct C&P from move #1* The first thing I should
tell you is, this move is permanent unless you execute it again, or
execute Gear Up. A simple move where George goes slower every time he
executes it (to a min of *, mind you), but his stamina also raises as
well (to a max of *****). Also, the slower he is, the faster it takes
for him to stop completely, or move sideways (as in real cars). However,
he can't jump as far. Use this move along with Gear Up effectively to
make George fast at the right time. The most important note is that
George is NOT affected with the speed penalty if he goes slow immediately.
However, if you shift his speed down to quickly, he might need some time
to adjust to the new speed (i.e. he'll keep at the previous speed for a
short while).

Special move #3
Move name: Power Drift
What it does: Depending on the direction held while doing this move,
George will slide towards that direction (at a parabolic curve).
Damage: *
Speed: *****
Range: Medium (**)
Notes/Strategy: This move will give George an advantage at tight corners.
It should be executed a bit early if you're intending to execute this
move for that purpose though, since he needs some space to 'slide in.'
If you're holding no direction at particular, George will slide BACKWARDS.
You also need to watch out for walls or whatever obstacle that's in
George's way, since if he hits any obstacle during this move, he'll come
to a complete stop and his speed will drop back to * (stamina will also
go back to *****). Note the parabola is wider if your speed is higher,
and vice versa. You *CAN* attack somebody with this, and they'll get
knocked away for very minimal damage. It's more of a 'utility' move
rather than an 'attack' move, really.

Character strategy: George is a racer. Plain and simple. Actually, in
Hilltop High's stage, he is probably the fastest character if there's a
Time Attack mode. But that's really all about him, he's a racer, not a
fighter, and you better not use him to fight! His stats are really
average as well. George requires lots of practice to be effective, and
perhaps some course memorization for him to be good. Definately an expert
character.

Introduction dialogue:
*George Finnan is seen leaning on his black Mazda RX-7*
George: Yo! You must be that new guy everybody's talking about.
George: I'm George Finnan. I'm a born racer myself. I've won almost every
street races over here.
*a closer look on George is seen*
George: So you wanna race against me, on foot? I won't back down. I love
a good challenge.
*A dialog box pops up asking you if you accept his challenge or not*

Yes, I accept your challenge:
*George is smiling*
George: Yeah, that's what I expected.
George: Just to tell you, I know everything about this course. All the
curves, the shortest path, whatever.
George: It's too late to back down. Let's get it done.
*start race*

No, I don't accept your challenge:
*George opens the door of his RX-7*
George: Well, I certainly didn't expect that from a guy like you.
George: If you think you got the speed and skill, come back again. I'll
be waiting over here.
*George leaves with his car*
*goes back to opponent selection screen*

You win the race:
*George feels exhausted*
George: You've handled my first loss. Nice one, chap.
*George turns around*
George: I still have a lot to learn. You've given me inspiration. See you
around, then.
*goes to point calculation screen*
*screen shows you beat that stage*

You lose the race:
*George feels exhausted*
George: Well, I'm exhausted but I still won.
George: Guess it's because of my racer blood that held out.
*George looks at you*
George: Come back at any time. Even if I beat you, that doesn't mean I'll
slack off. Next time, I'll blow you away by a larger margin.
*goes to point calculation screen*
