Backstory: DJ MVP is somewhat of a hero to City High. An up-and-coming
techno musician, DJ MVP also plays just about every sport in his school,
and he does it quite well. Hence, his name: DJ MVP. The track team knows
that they can't go wrong by adding him to the lineup, but DJ MVP isn't a
huge fan of simply running. To liven up the tedious nature of sprinting
(well, in his eyes), he's brought some of his latest hits along to see
how the fans react to them.

Special moves:

Special move #1
Move name: Roadside Trance
What it does: DJ MVP hits a button on his player and a little musical
note flies to the nearest person. If it connects, they'll bob their head
to the rhythm of the music for a small while.
Effect: ***
Speed: **
Duration: ***
Range: Long (***)
Notes/Strategy: The musical note is a pretty average projectile in every
respect, but it trades speed for a bit of homing ability, and doesn't do
any damage (though it's unblockable). If it hits the opponent, they'll
be stunned for a little while. This allows DJ MVP to continue running, or
to run up and start comboing. DJ MVP has to slow down before he activates
it, which leads to a slower-than-average startup balanced by instantaneous
recovery. The stunning time is long enough to make a difference if it
connects, but is otherwise just a typical little projectile attack.

Special move #2
Move name: Remix of Hypocrisy
What it does: DJ MVP cranks up the volume on whatever it is he's playing
and it produces a powerful sound barrier that deflects projectiles very
briefly.
Effect: *****
Speed: ***
Duration: **
Range: Short (*)
Notes/Strategy: This stops all projectile attacks from connecting on DJ
MVP. The caveat is that you have to time it, and it only works on those
that are coming *very* close to striking him. It has some startup before
the brief barrier comes out, but this doesn't stop you from running; it's
just there to try and throw off your timing. Once mastered, however, it's
doubtful that any sort of plain projectile will ever hit him. This
prevents the need for DJ MVP to slow down and block it otherwise. This
does *not* hit an opponent.

--
Character strategy: DJ MVP is more or less a simple all-arounder, with a
focus on fighting with and against projectile attacks. Aside from that,
he has very few notable strengths and weaknesses in which to exploit. He's
basically good in just about every situation, but he stands out most
versus the projectile-centric characters at a cost of having no direct
damage special move. DJ MVP is a great choice for both beginners and
experts alike as a jack-of-all-trades.

DJ MVP: Go on 'n take a rain check, I'll be here waitin' for the next
