Possibly the largest character in the game as well.
Backstory: The first daughter of her family in a very long time, Chiyo
descends from who her mother said was the strongest woman to ever walk
the land. Her red highlights in her hair are a reminder of this ancestor
as she decided to try and fill her shoes. An obsessive bodybuilder, Chiyo
is probably well on her way to matching the legend. She was enrolled in
Queens' High by her folks in hopes that she'd mellow down a bit and get
more in touch with her feminine side. Her warmups prior to track races
are so intense, she's exhausted by the time the race starts.
School: Queens High

Special moves:

Special move #1
Move name: Giant's Stroll
What it does: Chiyo stomps the ground hard to let the earth know what
it's carrying.
Damage: ***
Speed: ***
Range: Medium (**)
Notes/Strategy: Actually, there's two ways to perform this. We'll cover
that in a bit. The normal version is pretty fun; you stomp, and those
within a half-screen range that's not in the air will fall over for
decent damage. It comes out fast (fast enough to end combos) and the
damage is okay, but recovers somewhat slowly. This does more damage if
Chiyo does it on top of a grounded opponent, but not a whole lot more.
Remember when I said there was another way to perform this? You do it by
jumping and landing next to the opponent you want to shake over. It does
very little damage, but it recovers fast and it still knocks down. If you
fall from a high place, you'll get the normal version. Don't overuse it;
Chiyo eats up her own stamina fast. If done via a jump, she doesn't lose
any additional stamina than she normally would if she just did it on the
ground. Remember that those that are in the air will *not* be damaged by
the attack. Finally, this is unblockable.

Character strategy: Chiyo is huge and strong. Remember this. There's
little to fault her with in terms of attacks; she hits hard, wields heavy
objects very easily, and has a decent all-around special move that
encourages you to leap down from high places if you want to really cause
chaos for a low stamina cost. Her greatest fault is in her overall speed.
By itself it's just below-average, but her low stamina prevents her from
running around for long. The main idea at the beginning would be to try
and keep everyone else in the competition from advancing too far by
stomping and moving ahead. If you get a sizable lead, take a quick break
and continue onward. If not, at least maintain your lead by doing the
stomp to knock your pursuers over. Most people will jump around a lot
when Chiyo's in the vicinity; she has little defense against this, but
you can try and fake people into jumping by standing still momentarily so
you can nail them when they land.

Introduction dialogue:
*Chiyo first appears holding a gigantic log - likely her main form of
weight training. How else could she have gotten so flippin' big? She's
obviously looking VERY exhausted.*
Chiyo: Ninety-eight... ninety-nine...
*And she drops it.*
Chiyo: Gah!! Couldn't... make it to a hundred... *pant, pant*...
*And then, she notices you.*
Chiyo: You... huh. I've been waitin' for you to show up! I've been...
training day and night *pant*... to get Carla's little toadies to shut up
about you!
*She flexes to show off just what you're about to face down.*
Chiyo: Heh... don't mind me. That was just a warm... up. I'll take you
on here and... now! *wheeze*
*A dialog box pops up asking you if you accept her challenge or not*

Yes, I accept your challenge:
*Chiyo flexes again in a different position.*
Chiyo: So you don't... underestimate me because of my sex, huh... that
takes some fun out of it... bah! *Pant, pant* Let's do it!
*start race*

No, I don't accept your challenge:
*Chiyo turns around and lifts up her weight training log again.*
Chiyo: Hmph! Fine, but... you can't run away... forever! Or maybe you
don't take me... too seriously. *huff, puff* Fine! Then I'm doing a
hundred more! One... !! Two... !! ....Three... !! *wheeze* Grrrr!!
*Now's a good time to leave.*
*goes back to opponent selection screen*

You win the race:
*Chiyo collapses from exhaustion, lying across her training log. The
angle suggests your character's kneeling down to see if she's okay.*
Chiyo: *Pant, pant, pant...* I'm really... beat. You got me good...
heh heh!
*Chiyo gives you a sort of leer that'd be enough to make anybody
uncomfortable.*
Chiyo: I don't have... a boyfriend... wanna be mine? ...If you...
*huff, puff* are one. These days it's... getting hard to... tell.
*And so, she passes out from overexertion. That ends that.*
*goes to point calculation screen*
*screen shows you beat that stage*

You lose the race:
*Chiyo sits on the ground, washing her sweat off with a towel.*
Chiyo: Heh... barely a workout... *cough, pant*
*She holds out an arm towards the big training log*
Chiyo: Feel free to use...that! *wheeze* If you want...a chance at ever
beating... me!
*She stands up and goes to walk away*
Chiyo: Take your time... whew! I'm gonna... go hit the sauna. *pant*
*goes to point calculation screen*
