PRAYER CONCERNS

Kathi Zollman-Pray for her as she continueschemotherapy.

George Mize-as he continues chemotherapy and for he and Sue as they move to Walla Walla.

Charlotte Eliason-For her great granddaughter, Sierra Carey, who has a very serious malignant tumor. She had a kidney removed and is recovering at home and continuing her cancer treatments at Doernbecker's in Portland.

Elaine Entermille-Pray for her family on the death of her brother, Merle Dagget of JOseph and for her husband, Dave, as he is job hunting after loosing his BMCC job of 19 years due to budget cuts.

Marie Blocksom -Continue to pray for Darlene Marquardt's Mother. Marie, who lives in West Salem. The dysphasia is improving and her communication skills are much better. She has other health concerns also. She is currently still living in her own apartment and has someone coming in each day to check on her. Continue to pray as she learns to deal with this new situation in her life. Also pray for Darlene as she is not able to visit her Mom as often as she would like due to job and distance and is having to deal with this from a distance.

Len Shupe -Pray for him as he continues various treatments for Prostate Cancer.

Craig and Karla -- For Karla's son, Jeff Waterland, as he awaits deployment in May or June with the Army and with Craig's son, Shad, that he continues to make good choices in his life.

Cal and Karen Ashbeck -- Pray for Cal's daughter, Kelly Booth, as she prepares to be deployed in the near future with a National Guard unit to the Middle East.

Bonnie Wasson -- Pray for her son, Erik, who was hired by the Milton-Freewater Police Department last December and recently graduated from the Police Academy. Pray for his protection in every aspect of his new career and how it affects his life

Law Enforcement -- Pray for the other law enforcement officers that attend and participate in our church family that they will be safe. We appreciate their protection in their various roles with County and State entities.

Whitney Porter -- For co-worker, Jon Nitz, who broke both wrists adn bones in his hand when he fell from a ladder recently.

Carol Fitzsimmons-Pray for her as she recovers from knee surgery.

Allamae Hicks-Pray for her sister, Kathy, of Oklahoma City, who was hospitalized with a bleeding ulcer. She is now at home and recovering.

Sue Martin - Pray for a medical situation she is going through.

Debbie Berry -- Pray for God's guidance and direction in her life and that doors of opportunity to be opened to her.

Melissa & Larry Monkus -- for strength to deal with the death of their son, Brian on Easter Sunday.

Anonymous -- For a daughter's protection, safety and guidance to make good decisions and choices and the strenth and wisdom to carry them out.

Darlene's daughter-Pray for her as she is attending university full time again along with working full time grave yard shift. Continue to pray that she keeps her depression under control and that she can keep up with tons of homework on such a sleepless schedule. Also pray as she begins looking for a better living situation. Also pray for her brother who is bi-polar.

COG State Office-Missionaries, Tom and Norma Smith in Cairo, Africa, with a school for Sudanese refugee children, requests prayer for a large number of people (including 70 high school students) areested by the government.See bulletin board for more information

Board of CE -Praise for good turnouts for the adult Sunday School classes. Also pray for Marriage Relationships.. Pastor Joseph and the youth program .. Those choosing Jesus each Sunday .. Our living link missionaries, Wayne and Kathi Sellers and their family in Costa Rica .. Pastor Rick, Debbie, Nate, Lindsay and Luke .. Housing / employment concerns .. New Christians .. Church leaders for 2003 .. All newly-formed 2003 boards and committees .. Pray for middle/high students.. Parents.. teens ... our school districts and their current financial woes... our state budget processes... our state and federal government ... service men overseas..

Shirley Pardue -- Her great granddaughter, Delainey Lynne Winters, born on March 26, was recently in church. Mother, Amy, and Delainey are doing well.

Henrietta Moss -- For the TLC she received in church when she wasn't feeling well and for the phone calls and visits and wonderful cards and flowers and help she received since Fred passed away.

Neither have any of us. Come join us as we learn a little bit more about how God wants us to walk in this world. We have 2 new studies starting and 2 continuing studies.

¨ Wednesday night fellowship dinner/adult study - "Becoming a Contagious Christian", (dinner starts at 6:00, bible study at 7:00) our 1st dinner (a potluck) and the study starts on June 4th.

¨ New Study in Ladies Sunday School class starting June 1st at 9:00 a.m. What's so amazing about grace by Phillip Yancey

¨ Continuing study in our men's Sunday school with Jim Phelps doing the promise keepers Bible study (I hear some awesome things about this study and you don't have to have been there from the beginning)

¨ Continuing study in Sunday school with Maggie Wurtz on the book of Nehemiah.

There will be sign-up sheets for the 2 new studies in the foyer. Please sign up so that we can get your books for you. There will be more info coming out on the new summer Wednesday night fellowship dinner/study.
