WOMENS RETREAT A women's retreat  is planned for March 12-13-14 at Bannock Lodge at Meadowood Springs Speech and Hearing Camp.  This location offers walking trails in a beautiful wooded setting just 11 miles from Weston.  sleeps up to 17 and has a full kitchen.  Due to space limitations, this will be open to the first 17 women.  At this writing, 7 have already signed up.  In a recent development, this reatreat is now FREE to those attending.  RSVP to Malina Lindell if you would like to attend. MEMORIAL COMMITTEE The memorial committee announces that contributions can still be made in memory of Elaine Allen and George Mize.   Clearly mark your check or envelope as memorial donations in the name of the individual you choose. CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to those who were baptized and dedicated on Sunday, February 29th, and to Pastor Joseph as he was commissioned as anothe step on his way to becoming a licensed pastor. CHURCH TEAM BASKETBALL Watch the Sunday bulletins for game times.  Games are played at the Salvation Army Gym on S.E. 1st.           LADIES PRAYER GROUP A ladies prayer group is now meeting on the last Sunday of each month..  Their next meeting is Sunday, March 28th at 6:30 p.m. in the parlor. TEACHER'S MEETING A meeting for all teachers (Sunday School, Wednesday night etc) is scheduled for Sunday March 14th from 4-5 p.m. PEG BOARD Check out the pegboard in the entryway.  It is full of timely magazines (New Man, Today's Christian, Focus on the Family)  and devotionals (Daily, Quiet, Closer & Family Walks, Indeed, Tapestry) that are FREE !    If you would like to underwrite these mags, contact the church office. WEDNESDAY NIGHT  DINNERS We are taking signups for our mid-week suppertime.  People may sign up for preparing the meal, or clean-up, so those who prepared the meal can go directly to Bible Study.  See the clipboard on the table in the entryway.  The money taken in the week before is what is used to buy food supplies.  If you have any questions, contact Patsy Phelps. CRAFTERS  Our Spring Salad Luncheon and Garden Craft Bazaar is scheduled for April 2 & 3.  We are looking for quality crafts with an emphasis on gardening, but can include gift and decorating items for : Easter, Mother's/Father's Days, Graduations, Weddings, Showers, July 4th etc. Quality handmade crafts are needed by March 18th to be placed in the display window at the post office to publicize the craft bazaar.  If you can provide something, contact Anita. Our Spring Salad Luncheon needs a "manager" for Friday and Saturday.  If you are interested, contact the church office.  (This can be two people, one for each day) RUMMAGE SALES Saturday, March 6  -- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.   Five sales, each a different room, DOWNSTAIRS.  Enter through lower door at lower parking lot.  Get a jump on the yard sale season.  We don't care if it rains, snows or blows.  Church sale will be in the main Fellowship Hall.

Cindy Darlington	Pray for her doctor's wisdom concerning her back.  Also pray for her husband, Rod
Kevin Porter	Pray for his cousin, Shawn Gibbs, who was burned in an accident.  Pray for his healing, comfort for his family and that he asks Jesus into his heart and his decisions.
Anonymous	For families dealing with difficult personal situations at home and at school.
Darlene Marquardt	Renewed prayer for her daughter as she continues to go to college full time and work full time and commute quite some distance in between the two.  Pray that she gets fully rested daily.  She has been struggling with weak health.  Also pray for Darlene's Mom, Marie Blocksom, who fell a couple of times recently and is in a lot of pain partly due to the fall and partly due to some other health issues.
Pastor Larry Booth	Pray for him as he recovers from being hospitalized for complications from cancer.  Pastor Larry is gravely ill.
Charles Cook	Pray for his grandmother, Mary Gehling, who is having a difficult time recovering from a back surgery.
Jan Hood	Pray for the sale of her home that the family buying it can do so quickly and without complications
Craig and Karla Robinson	Pray for their son, Jeff Waterland, and all the troops serving in the Middle East, that they return safely to their country, their families and their friends.
Kathy Persinger	Pray for her brother-in-law, Rod Persinger, who suffered a heart attack recently.
Brad Stevens	Pray for a knee injury he sustained last week at work, that surgery not be needed and that he is back on his feet at at work very soon.

	PRAYER CONCERNS INFORMATION AND REQUESTS If you have a prayer concern (or praise) that you would like listed in the Sunday bulletin or on the monthly web newsletter, please record the request on the "Friendship and Communication Card" found in the pew on Sunday and place in the offering plate or hand to an usher.  The request must be in writing, please.  Each concern and praise will be printed in the Sunday bulletins for three weeks.  If you have a private request, please indicate that and it will not be published.  We encourage everyone to take advantage of this resource.
