sale of daughter's vehicle - also for daughter's strength during
difficult schedule between work and school.
Persingers, on birth of Jack Robert born March 6th Ashley Berry on birth of daughter, Charley Marie Harwood on
March 17 Darlene Marquardt's daughter - on getting really good grades
last term at university and on getting proper diagnosis of Asthma so
treatment could be effective. Pastor Kevin and Darcy Dickerman - expecting baby in October
and moving to Pennsylvania where they are pastors.

WHERE CAN YOU GET A MEAL FOR A BUCK? All our mid-week meal/programs resume March 31st. Our meal that night is stir-fry chicken with veggies, salad and dessert -- all for $1.00 .. this is typical of what happens EVERY Wednesday. Come every Wednesday and see what the dinner for the evening is.. only $1.00. EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE An Easter Sunrise Service, sponsored by the Pendleton Ministerial Association, is planned for April 11 at 6:30 a.m. at Sundridge Middle School Student Commons. Come celebrate the Resurrection of Christ. Message by Pastor Marc Mullins. DOUBLE SERVICES ON EASTER SUNDAY Double services will be held on Easter Sunday, April 11th. The first service will be at 8:30 a.m. Children will NOT be dismissed for Sunday School during the first service. They will be dismissed for Sunday School during the second service, which begins at 10:30 a.m. (our regular time) There will be no adult Sunday School classes; instead, there will be a fellowship downstairs. The infant nurery (newborns to 3 year olds) WILL be available for BOTH services. SUNDAY SCHOOL CURRICULUM The Board of Christian Education just ordered the new Sunday School curriculum for the men's (Wild at Heart by John Eldridge) and women's (Believing in God by Beth Moore) classes. If you want to reserve a workbook for either one, they are $15.00 -- it's very important to get your workbook reservation to your leaders. -- watch your bulletin for sign-ups. You must let Allen Waggoner and Teri Brickey know as soon as possible. Both studies begin on April 18th. HELPERS NEEDED Want to help? Anita has a list in the church office of many ways to serve the church! BABY SHOWER A baby shower for our newest church family member, Jack Robert Persinger, son of Jeff and Kathy, will be Sunday, April 4th at 2:30 p.m. here at the church. Kori Schofield and Becky Parker are hosting. All ladies are invited to attend. LADIES PRAYER GROUP A ladies prayer group is now meeting on the last Sunday of each month. in the parlor. Marcella Hamilton is leading.
MID-WEEK SUPPERTIME We are now taking sign-ups for our mid-week suppertime. People may sign up for preparing the meal or clean-up so those who prepared the meal can go directly up to the Bible study. See the clipboard on the table in the entryway. The money taken in the week before is what is used to buy food supplies. If you have any questions, contact Patsy Phelps.
CRAFTERS Our Spring Luncheon Salad and Garden Craft Bazaar is scheduled for April 2 and 3. We are looking for quality crafts with an emphasis on gardening, but can include gift and decorating items for: Easter, Mother's/ Father's Day, graduations, weddings, showers, July 4th etc. Our Spring Salad Luncheon still needs a manager for Friday and Saturday. If you are interested, contact the church office. (this can be two people, one for each day) Find the insert that was in March 28th's bulletin and sign up for something to help in all parts of this FUNDRAISER. Proceeds go to help VBS (Vacation Bible School)
BULLETIN BOARD Be sure to check out the bulletin board each Sunday. We try to highlight newspaper articles and pictures of our church family as well as advertise "for sale" "wanted" and "employement" possibillities. Also posted is helpful info regarding a myriad of subjects, meeting notices, thank you notes, community activities and more!
WOMEN'S RETREAT Ladies - There is a women's retreat at Cannon Beach on April 23-25. Mountain Park Community Church in Lake Oswego sponsors it and always invites women from our church to attend. If you would like more information on this great retreat, contact DiAnna Miller. In the past, many women from our church have attended it and had a wonderful time.
Parents, friends and family
of high school grads! The Grad Night festivities are planned for
Sunday, May 16 at 6 p.m. Be sure to put that on your already busy
"grad" schedule! This will include a dinner, gifts and a special
video. It's a great night to celebrate this important event in our
seniors' lives.
MEMORIAL COMMITTEE Thank you to our Memorial Committee for making arrangements to get new chairs in the parlor. They are a blessing. Also thanks to those who generously contributed to this project.
