Are we really teachers?

Assalamualaikum.
After long year in this profession I feel that I have the right to say something about my beloved profession. Question ? Are we really teachers? I don't really know! If we are really teachers then lets just teach, we have an obligation not just to ourselves but to all children. Lately the senario is teachers are bombarded with too many clericals jobs, we are not miracles workers we can even chant magical spells but we can teach so please let us teach! It is good to have plans but please allow us to plan to teach not to dream. There are just too many dreams and written stories but do they really help to excel our students. Answer ! No. We teachers are spending more time on writing plans and dreams ( other people dreams,plans, reports researches,not ours! ) and neglect our students needs. We spent too many hours slavering ourselves too.Just help us to continue teaching our students. We owe them so very much yet we are unable to repay them not even a penny . Why ? I love my job and I love my children too.
