L=Lost bout
D=Draw. Bout was refought.

Matches are noted by the order in which they were fought in each column. For example, Irel fought Corwyn in the first match of the first round, so there is a "1" by each of their names. Roger fought Weltschin in the fifth match, so there is a "5" by each of their names. etc. The matches in the first round were determined by dividing the field into peers and non-peers and allowing each non-peer to challenge a peer.
