This is my saddlebred gelding, Baby's Request (aka Babe, Babester, BR, Handsome Guy, and O Wacky One). When he was 2 years old his previous owner sentenced him to the slaughterhouse for the crime of walking up (crowding the human leading him). I took him home instead, broke him of the bad habit in less than two months, and gained a friend. Babe and I have been friends for two years. |

Hard work pays off! Baby's Request placed 1st out of six in his division and 4th out of twelve in the finals in his first competition. That, happily, is a long way from the slaughterhouse! |
