| Tori had some pretty cool high school and college friends, male and female. She hung out with them a lot and had crazy fun together. Sure, you want to know details. I'll tell you about some pedestrian fun. They'd have non-alcoholic parties, buy tons of food and cooked, watched Melrose Place every week without fail, and gossiped about loosers they knew. Tori would defend her friends, even if it meant calling up some jerk herself to tell him he wasn't good-looking enough to pull crap on them. Her friends would have to leave the room after laughing so hard. They also got together for softball games and chiled at the playgrounds together. On occasion, they'd smoke pot and drink together. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| I'll tell you more juicy gossip now. Tori had a live-in boyfriend that she kicked out 7 months later because he couldn't clean up after himself, let alone clean, cook, or do laundry. He called Tori a bitch because she complained he wasn't paying rent. Friends they worked with at Taco Bell and her friends from McDonald's (where they met) were sympathetic to her. Afterall, she worked part-time, went to school full-time, and had to pick up after them. Ray just made up fake wrestling matches and worked. He used her IU e-mail address for his personal bullcrap instead of a free Hotmail or Yahoo one. Tori's galpal drove her to Taco Bell to break up with Ray because she knew he wouldn't be home at a decent hour - he lived at the computer lab. When he was at home, he'd ignore Tori and play with his wrestling men and video games. After the break-up, Tori felt SO relieved and didn't want in another relationship for a long time. That didn't stop Tori from making out with guy friends. (That includes before Ray.) She limited it to guys she knew well because she doesn't trust random dudes, no matter what their "status." She'd rather hook up with someone she worked 20 hours a week with whom she understood and trusted. Or random hotties that hung out on Kirkwood with their friends and became friends with Tori's friends. They'd go to Wal-Mart at all hours of the night, chill on golf courses in the middle of the night, and check out local parks. They also went to all-night sit down restaurants (Denny's, Steak N Shake, NOT Whitecastle) to chill, eat, and talk. Some friends would go bowling pretty regularly. They'd get together to watch movies after having boys vs. girls foodfights after closing at McD's. They would go out clubbing together after work - dance clubs and sit-down pubs. They'd even go in their uniforms if it was close enough and they already knew everyone there anyway. They knew a lot of people in Bloomington and often got free drinks and food. They legal people would buy alcohol for the non-legal people at restaurants. One of Tori's best friends her senior year was Van. Tori had to pick up more hours at another store to afford her new Camaro. Van worked there, and his best friend originally pursued her. She wasn't interested in him, but she grew to be interested in Van as she got to know him more. They officially hooked up on Mariah Carey's B-Day. |
