About the Artwork

All original drawings are rendered in quality graphite and charcoal pencils on acid free, heavy weight, archival quality Bristol smooth paper, drawn from a photograph. Quality workable fixative is applied during the drawing process and after completion, to protect the drawing from damage. All works are done completely by hand without using any graphic technology.

Time Taken

Patience and attention to detail are my strengths to achieve realistic, yet artistic results. Hence, time taken to draw a portrait depends on the complexity of the subject. Once I receive the photo, Ill usually take, not more than, 3 5 weeks from the start date (which will be notified by email) depending upon my workload.  I will make every attempt to finish the work by the given time limit, although I reserve the right to exceed the time frame.  If you do have a target date, please mention while ordering, and Ill do my best to fit in

Tips to pick the right photograph

More detailed the photo(s), more realistic the drawing will be.

In case you dont want to send photos, for fear of losing, you can send high-resolution scanned images. Be it a photo or a scanned image, following are the requirements to get better results.
-  A photo taken in a studio is perfect, or something very similar.

-  Photograph that is clearly focused and shows the details of the subject with proper
   lighting.

-  The head of the subject should be at least 2 inches tall in the photo.

All photos will be returned, in the same condition as it was received, along with the original artwork.
