| Coral Cove When ships arrive along the eastern coast of Pembroke Isle, they must travel through half-mile break in the coral reef. This is ample space for several ships to sail into the protected harbor, abreast. But when the weather is torrent, the area of the reef becomes dangerous. The inlet itself offers amble sea room for ships to maneuver not matter the weather. All along Coral Cove, fishermen work from boat, pier, and coast. As one of the main staples for the Isle is fish (as well as rye, pork, and chicken) many work as fishermen on Pembroke. Huts line the coast, but the city of Coral Cove is situated more specifically at the northest slope of the coast. Here many sorts of people and shops can be found. The Magistrate of Pembroke's own house is nestled into the heart of the city. Bakeries, butcher, flowershop, smithy, and many more shops. Though there is a lumber mill, it it lies outside of the city's boundaries. Lambert Lambert is a village that lies to the south, midland. Known for being hunters, they pride themselves in trades of meats and pelts. Over eighty populate the area in huts of thatch roof and stone. North Pembroke (aka The Black Forest) Nearly the entire portion of North Pembroke is forest. Were any man or woman wishing to escape law, or else, they would only have to step into North Pembroke. Also known as The Black Forest because of how little light it allowed inside from the dense canopy of leaves and branches. Though some are known to populate the area, the count is never accurate, as not everyone is ever accounted for since each are incredibly hard to find. Duneborough The range of Massif Mount lazily lays from mid-northeast to southwest. To the western side of the mount is Duneborough. As the rest of the Isle is reasonably green and fair (weather providing), Duneborough seems to have taken the full brunt of nature's wrath. Most of the area is desert. Hot and arid, it was named well. A hundred or so people populate the area. Known for their medicinal herbs and remedies, those from Duneborough are treated with a general attitude of respect. Azsemar Castle (Home to Sire Pembroke) At the farmost, northeastern coastline of Pembroke stands Azsemar Castle. Six leagues (approximately 20 miles) from Coral Coves. The land it stands upon is vast, with the ocean within reach. Less than a mile to the south is a village that brings trade and visitors to Azsemar Castle daily. Villages Numberous villages and houses dot the lands outside these areas, but it is to Coral Cove where trade usually happens. |
