This photo was taken by Russell S. Gregg of Hamilton, Virginia from the Purcellville water tower in 1934. The view is looking east along the W&OD Railway tracks. The top of the train station is visible in the bottom left of the photo. Many of the buildings in this photo still exist such as the Loudoun Milling Company in the center.
