The characters arn't mine, only the storyline. Also, this story happens just after, and I mean just, Queen Serenity sends Luna and Artemis to earth with Usagi's Court. For my purposes, she is not yet dead. As seems usually anymore, this is a first time fanfic. Enjoy! ***************************************************************************** "Mother! Mother! Queen Serenity! There you are. Oh no, you used the full force of the crystal. I can't stop you from dying mother. My mage powers aren't healing powers. What did you do with sister and her court?" "My dear Saffire. You are the only one left, besides me. I used the crystal to seal the negaforce and to send your sister and her court to another time to live peaceful lives. The crystal only sent those who were dead or dying with her. Oh my dear darling, you're stuck here to die with me. Had I but known you were still alive. I thought you had died with your beloved, like your sister." "It's o.k mother, I have enough power to send my self to the future. I did not die. I wish that I had so I could be with Prince A.J. But if you say he was sent along in the crystal because he was already dead, then I will follow him and find him someday. But you have little time left. What do you wish me to do before you leave?" "You must find the royal treasury. Behind the cresent moon engraving is a secret passage that leads down to the royal crypt. You must take me there so that the special treasures of the universe are not lost." "Yes mother." Saffire digs up the treasury under the palace with her mage powers. "Mother, it is done. I will levitate you there. Here we are. The roof has been caved in along with most of the walls mother, but the area around the cresent moon engraving is clear." "Yes, Saffire, that is because of the spells around it. Moooon Cresent Assent!" The engraving starts to lift up revealing a passage. "Take me down there, my dear daughter." "Yes mother. Here we are mother. Let me light the torches. I command the fire torch!" A torch on fire pops out of the air. Saffire grabs it and goes around the room, lighting the torches. "What next mother?" "Go to the cresent moon graving on the floor and step on the center stone." We hear a grating sound. "Shall I levitate you down mother?" "Yes." "Mother! There are our ancestors in here, but no treasure." "Yes, I know. Lay me down on an empty slab." "Yes mother. What next?" "Just wait. When I'm done, I will end my life. You must take the treasure and leave quickly if you are to catch up with your sister. I call upon the spirits of the ancient ancestors, open the gates of power so that the royal treasure may be carried forth!!" The spirits of the bodies started coming out and whirling around in a cyclonic mist. Suddenly, they stopped and started chanting. Then a huge golden door popped out of no where and opened. I looked to see my mother had stopped breathing and knew she was dead. I went into the golden door with tears streaming down, knowing I had lost her forever. I gathered the treasure and put it into a room on another plane, one that only I could get to. Then I used the last of my magic to hurl myself through time and space to find my sister and her court and my beloved prince A.J, Prince of the moon of Mercury. ***************************************************************************** How was it?
