Leaves are falling into a pit of despair
Orange, gold, crimson, and rust
Eyes the color of ancient emeralds
Peer through the leaves
Teardrops fall like morning dew
Leaves twist and turn in the breeze
The tears keep flowing
Why do you cry?
Dear creature
Drown your sorrows upon my bosom
Know that if you pass before the rose flush of Dawn
Falls upon your wearied face
You have gone while being loved!

Seasonal Transitions
As the cool rain drizzles,
Leaves of every color from ruby to gold,
.
Summer has now come to an end,
Mother Nature will be refreshed,
Summer will follow, as the days get longer,
But, until then, let's not waste our energy grieving for Summer,
A time of transition, not such a bad thing,
Such a dim, dreary afternoon,
As the swift cool breeze is upon us,
We are reminded of Winter, which will be here soon.
The season is upon us - the crisp chill in the air,
We must take in the beauty, here for us all to behold,
Must not focus on the trees and land, looking so bare
But we mustn't despair,
Fall and Winter are Mother Nature's time to mend and repair,
Soon Spring will yet again be in the air.
In all her glory she will replenish,
Sunshine and flowers, cool Spring days,
Wishing it would never end, be it Springtime always.
Sunshine and those hot, humid Summer nights,
The lakes, the streams, all bodies of water,
Lightening bugs fill the air, thousands of twinkiling lights.
Fall is a beautiful season all it's own,
Perfect time to sip hot tea and admire the beauty all around,
Time to prepare for the Winter holidays soon approaching.
Without seasons, the world would be such a boring place,
Take a moment to consider all the joy each season brings.
