The Gilbert family were prided and obviously Wonderful people. Our great- grand-father gave each of his children a hundred dollars along with an acre of land to build a home. (Samuel & Lucinda were parents of our grandmother Nancy Lee Gilbert Gillespie). I regret I was not around to know my wonderful great grand parents. (Even a photograph would be helpful), but many that have the photographs hang on and treat it as if its theirs alone, the rest of us are not family members. I have learned to live with the ideology but not accept! Nevertheless, this web site will cater to this beautiful family.

Ginger, one little angel of the cat world. She came into earth as sunshine, giving everyone the glitter of beauty, and left her ever lasting presence!

The later photograph of Grandpa John & Nancy.
They appear buurrr cold, as they pose for the photograph, however they're at least dressed warm.

Nancy Lee Gilbert Gillespie.
With both parents so good-looking, how could there have been one
of their children not good-looking!? They were (are) absolutely good-looking. The rose above is called vaiegated tearose, and the beautiful tune playing is one that is played at all Scotland/Ireland funerals, brave tune called "A GIFT OF A THISTI"!
