The Seychelle Islands |

The Seychelle Islands are a string of about 150 islands, several hundred miles off the coast of Kenya in the Indian ocean. This was our final port stop. |

The port was too small for our ship, so we had to drop anchor in the bay, and ferry our way in. This was the view we were met with when we left the ship. |

This was one of the ferryboats that brought us to and from shore, while the mt Whitney was anchored off shore. The boatmen, like the one on the front of the ship, walked around the ship as if it was solid ground, no matter how big the waves were. |

Being five degrees south of the Equator, the weather was beautiful, but humid. This is another shot from the Mt Whitney as a sailboat drifted by. |
