Our new Uniforms are BDU Uniforms. This is a light weight uniform with all printed-on or sewn in letters and badges.We have new lightweight polo shirts, they are navy blue with white lettering on the back saying POLICE EXPLORER. On the Front is our badge on the left chest. We wear Regular BDU pants and where them over the boots.
II. UNIFORM
Our Uniforms are Light Blue, Made By Flying Cross. We wear the same pants as the officers do in our department, (Dark Blue with Jean Blue Stripe). On our uniforms we have on our Left shoulder the Pelham Police Patch, and on our right shoulder The Law Enforcement Explorer Patch. We all have name plates, badges, (silver for cadet, gold or brass for ranking explorer) and we all wear flag pins for patriotisim.
III. Gear
On our Duty Belts all explorer's are different. We are Allowed anything we can think of except a weapon. What most of us carry are:
-Handcuffs
-Latex Gloves
-Radio
-Cell Phone
-"Multi Tool"
-Flashlight
-Bullet Resistant Vest (Ride-Alongs Only)
