| "The intent of the Pelham Police Department Law Enforcement Post is to educate youth in law enforcement, community service, leadership, and team skills. The education aspects provide knowledge of law enforcement's function in the community. Through Active involvement, an Explorer program establishes an awareness of the complexities of police service. The key to success will be police and private citizen involvement.
