Apparently in the past there was much strife between the various clans until the clan MacDunn took control, and installed their own lord, the most recent of which is Fahlmar MacDunn. These people are very in tune with religion, in fact, their lives seem to revolve around two things, the previously mentioned clans, and the kirk (church). The Manachs (priests) take vows of silence when entering the service of their god Ardaugh, and do not rescind those vows, it appears, until they have become very knowledgable in the ways of religion. The sword is their prefered weapon, though several guards and smiths did have different weapons, most notably clubs of club type weapons. There appears to be some sort of honorary guild there called the 'Blademasters' where, if one is good enough in the ways of using a sword, one can be admitted into this guild, where one is taught further in the ways of using a sword. The males also have the strange custom of wearing some sort of skirt called a 'kilt'. I am unsure as to whether or not this helps them in battle or not, but I would advise against making remarks on them, they do at times take offence to it, and making them angry would definitely make them more fierce in battle. Overall, though, the people seem to be good-natured and intentioned, and could quite possibly become good friends with the Knighthood.
