Washington, DC

It seems that everywhere you go in Europe, you are in some country's capital. It is not so in the United States. I was 22 before I visited DC for the first time, and I lived only four hours away. DC is a very impressive city to visit. It was designed to convey the power of the United States to foreign dignitaries. DC is also the site of many interesting museums where you could spend many days exploring them alone.

My girlfriend Tanja outside the White House.
The people lined outside the fence are waiting to tour part of the house.

The Lincoln Memorial accented with a little unplanned photo art.

The Korean War Memorial. Worth a visit.

The gravesite of President John F. Kennedy.
I believe that if he was not assassinated, he would not have been so popular.
I wait for history to correct his importance.

An old $2 bill. It is a "United States note" as opposed to a
"Federal Reserve Note" which has green serial numbers.
