Why I am voting for President Bush in the next election

Now before any anti-Bush extremists get all bent out of shape, you guys can take comfort in that I live in Washington, DC.� A �state� that even Bill Clinton could not win as a Republican.� So my vote is symbolic.� I will be one of the ten people who voted for Bush in DC.� My main solace is that half of the votes for the other team will also be symbolic.

As for me, I am an Independent.� I voted for Bush Sr, Clinton for reelection, and for G.W.

Here are the reasons why I think the President deserves another four years.� Most of these items effect me minimally, but they all do in a positive way:

Afghanistan � Under new management

-         Osama bin Laden � Either dead or hiding in a hole somewhere.

Iraq � Under new management

-         Sadam Hussein � In a jail cell, facing the death penalty

Libya � Gave up the chase for WMD

Patriot Act!

-         Stop protecting my privacy from the government.� It is because of the privacy nuts that other can easily assume my (and your) identity because there is no easy way to verify who is who.

-         The government has no time to snoop through your stuff, unless you are doing something illegal. (Your life is not that interesting anyway)

President Bush knows that you cannot negotiate with the terrorists out to get us.

-         I have been to the Middle East, have you?

-         Everyone knew I was an American and they were all very friendly (much more than our European Allies)

Repeal of the marriage penalty tax

Decrease in the Double taxation of stock dividends

Decrease in Middle-income family taxes

-         Low income families pay no real income taxes!

The president does what he thinks is right, not only what is popular.

Europe openly hates President Bush

-         I have lived in and traveled around Europe for years and many Europeans hate America.� I have been asked a couple of times while overseas if I was an American (hearing my voice) and when I said that I was, the standard reply was �I hate Americans�

-         Europe hated Bush before he was elected President

Hollywood openly hates President Bush

-         Not exactly a reason, but I look forward to their reaction after he wins.

-         How is it all these millionaires are anti-Republican?

-         It is possible to donate extra money to the IRS in case you think they are not taking enough.

And Finally:

I am much better off than I was four years ago.
