This is Buck. He likes to wear slippers on his back feet, which tend to fall off, but he doesn't have the patience to let you pull them back up. He has been around the block more than a few times and likes to relax in his bed. He loves to be petted and talked to while he relaxes. |

Wolfie used to be a junkyard dog, but you'd never guess it. The doberman in him makes him look tough, but he's a big old sweetheart. He likes to lean against you while you pet him, and will follow you around if you stop paying attention to him. I'm told he doesn't much care for foul weather, either. Rather than hide indoors with his friends, he stands outside and yells at the rain, snow and hail that occasionally falls in Kanab. |

Ziggy is another sweetie. He just wants to be close to you. |

Ezra is a funny little guy. He likes to be aware of what all the other dogs are doing, particulalry in the run next to him. He also likes to hang with the people who visit him, but he has a fair amount of energy for an older guy, so don't expect him to just hang out and wait for pats! |

Zsa Zsa is a very pretty girl who wants your attention. Like Ezra, she still has a lot of energy. She is fascinated with the ball, but she doesn't quite get how to catch it or b ring it back. She would love for someone to teach her! |

Zebra is very sweet. She is very calm and serene and likes to go out for walks. |

Poor Vinnie. His eyes say so much. He really wants to say hello, but he's just not sure. Vinnie is mostly feral. He stays out of the way of the other dogs, and though he will watch you, he will only allow himself to get about two fee from you. But the right person might win him over and change his ways (I'm going to try!) |

Lou is a wonderful hound dog. He isn't really old, but everywhere else he went he was getting roughed up because he's such a nice boy. He's learning to toughen up with the old dogs, where he gets a little respect. Lou had a great home until his person got divorced and moved back in with his parents, where Lou wasn't welcome. Geez! he needs a lifelong friend. |

Reilly looks like a fuzzy little bear. But his personality is more like Fozzy bear. He just wants some love, and someone to run with around with him. |

Lenny is a beagle who loves his ball! He just wants to run after it all day long. He's getting older but he refuses to slow down. |
