In 1927, Walt Disney made a cortoon, Osward, the Lucky Rabbit, which was 
popular at that time. In Feb 1928, Walt and his wife went to New Yourk to sign a contract with a publisher, Charles Mintz for The Lucky Rabbit. Unfortunately, it was not success, so he was sad, and he decided to make a new cortoon. When he and his wife on the way home form New Yourk on the train, Walt saw a mouse and had an idea. He started to draw a picture that was a mouse. Walt named the mouse "Mortimer Mouse" immediately. But his wife, Lillian, had a better name, that was Mickey Mouse.
We can say, Mickey Mouse is a classic cartoon of Disney. Walt used Mickey Mouse to make a lot of films. For children, Mickey Mouse is their idol, and Disney World is their dream.
