I helped my mother sort through her sister, Clara's belongings (in Iowa City) last Saturday. (Clara moved to a nursing home and needs to sell her home.) Clara lived with their mother (my grandma) on a farm near Mallard, IA when these photos were taken around 1960. I thought that this dog looked like George Isley's Freckles. I sent these photos to George thinking that maybe this was one of his bred ES's from that period of time...??? The next time we go to Ia. City to see Clara, I'll have to see if she can remember anything about this particular dog.
