The ancient tales say that once a pegasus and a unicorn decided to defy their clans.  They met under moonlight by streams of silver and parted always at dawn.  They could not remain for he was the creature of the sky and she the protector of the forests.  But from their love came a new breed, the pegahorn with mighty pegasus wings and delicate unicorn horn.  Now pegahorns are alive and well here in the valley so watch closely as they frolic among the clouds or beneath the green boughs.  Click on the thumbnail for a bigger picture.  These are not my own works so if any of you have information on the artists let me know.  Titles and artists' names (if they are known) are listed on the individual picture windows.
