PRESS F11 ON YOUR KEYBOARD ---------------- The background image gives a vague view of an attack board being held by two hands during a night dive. A night dive for combat divers is usually dark and visually limiting. Glow sticks are employed as a source of light, no flashlights are used. On occasion lights from surface sources such as light fixtures can assist in seeing. Generally, the luminous markings of the compass and depth gauge on the attack board is the only readily available sight to see. Darkness and darker shadows make up the gloominess of the dive. Swimming into objects or hitting bottom is not uncommon. The luminous markings of the compass and depth gauge fade as time progresses. An activated glow stick kept between the wrist and wet suit can be pulled out once and while to recharge the instrument dials. With training and practice you can reach the objectives swimming at depth at night.
