An Illinois Cyber Adventure

*To offer students a fun hands-on learning experience.

*To build students' critical thinking skills.

*To build students' problem solving skills.

*To gain a greater knowledge of Illinois' physical attributes, government, and history.

Student Tasks:

As we study about our great State of Illinois in class you will also "visit" Illinois through an online Virtual Tour. You must visit one site from each Illinois section: Chicago, Northern Illinois, Central Illinois, and Southern Illinois. You may visit more sites if time allows. Each time we set off to the computer lab over the next six weeks you will be choosing a site to visit and completing the activities listed for that site. Make sure you bring your Travel Log with you. You may also work on this in our classroom during your individual computer time. I will be checking your progress at the end of each week.
