Strap on your hiking gear and come on in! Make sure you have boots and a raincoat, it rains an average 40 inches a MONTH in the tropical rainforest!
The rainforest is full of thousands and thousands of different species of plants and animals that depend upon one another to survive. We decorated our classroom to look like a rainforest so that we could get a feel for what it might be like to live there.
The rainforest floor is home to many different plants, but plants can also hitch a ride on the trees and grow above them, forming a canopy.
