Kourtney Koala & Mikayla The Moth
Kourtney Koala & Mikayla The Moth

This story happened a very long time ago in a land so far away
In a place where nasty creatures lived that roamed all night and day,
Where snakes did slither in the grass and wolves did howl all night
No little girls or boys went there in case they got a fright.

This land was a very sad and sorry place where nobody had fun
Where rivers were dry and empty and no eyes ever looked to the sun,
For when it rained tears from heaven the raindrops refused to fall
In fear of being turned into nasty pixies that screamed an evil call.

For many centuries this forsaken land was never mentioned aloud
And no one was brave enough to go there to be swallowed by the cloud,
Until that day two creatures from another land decided to visit there
One was a moth with blue eyes, the other was a Koala with brown hair.

The snakes all stopped slithering and the wolves ceased their howling cries
When they saw this blonde shimmering moth with beautiful big blue eyes,
" What name are you called oh flying one and why come here on your own? "
the moth replied with a smile, " My name is Mikayla and I am not alone ".

Suddenly they knew what she meant as another creature came into sight
A beautiful brown eyed cuddly Koala with hair that shimmered in the light,
They had never seen such a vision and the evil pixies shivered with great fear
As Kourtney Koala laughed aloud and Mikayla disappeared into Kourtney’s ear.

The nasty creatures screamed in terror at this magic that had been done
one minute they had seen this lovely moth then it vanished to the sun,
And when Kourtney Koala then went to sleep standing on her head
the wolves and snakes all were terrified that they would be turned to bread.

Kourtney winked at Mikayla as all of a sudden the tears from heaven fell
And the rivers ran to make waterfalls that God blessed with life as well,
For as long as you are honest to your soul and be kind and understand
never be afraid to walk this earth, like these sisters will, hand in hand.
