The WinAmp Playlist Switch allows for the preloading and scheduling of up to 5 Playlists in WinAmp. Start and finish times can be set and the selector will run the lists at stated times. It has the ability to repeat some or all of the playlists. Good Basic automation for WinAmp powered web Radio station. Download the Playlist Switch and install to your WinAmp/Plugins folder. How do I configure the Switch??? Once installed just open WinAmp and the Switch will open with it. 
Configuration is quite simply a case of adding Playlists and entering Dates & Times for them to start and stop playing. The various settings are mostly self explanetry but Ill go through some here. Playlist Selection Playlist Tabs: Selects the loaded playlists. Add Playlist: Adds a Playlist from file Auto Play: Will set the switch to Auto mode Load Now: Loads the selected list manualy Timer Settings On Timer/Off Timer - Does what it says. Set the Date/Time you want the playlist to run. Accept: Press to OK your playlist options. Daily Repeat: Will replay the the list at the set time every day. Set Volume: Allows you to overide the Main volume control Other Options Repeat playlist: Repeat's the list untill the stop time Shuffle Playlist: Shuffles the conrents of the playlist Alpha Blending Allows for a transparent GUI (not all OS support this feature) To restore the Playlist Switch on screen look in the task bar for the  Icon and right click for the menu.
Warning Closing the switch from this menu will exit WinAmp also. |
