Aiyah! ^^;; I couldn't think of a better word than 'submissions'... Well, we'll just skip over that and let the people who don't live in the gutter continue their lives in pleasant confusion.
Sorry, this isn't the sort of archive where any old person can run up to me, eyes shining like a little puppydog and plead to have their fics added to the list. The number one rule is that you have to be a (mostly-)active member of the Ramble Land community. I guess, though, that you could go and make friends with us and THEN ask to be archived. Yeah, that would work. But no cheating and popping up for one day to post some stuff and then disappear!
Rules:
- You must be a member of the Rocket Ramble Land messageboard.
- The fic can't be a random, character-bashing spamfic because those are mean and pointless...I'm not saying it NEEDS to have a plot, ficlets are good, but the point of the fic can't be cruelty to a series or character(s).
- That's it ^_^ I'll post violent fics, yaoi fics, hentai fics, whatever (with appropriate warnings, of course) -- so long as they adhere to the above two rules!
Guidelines:
- E-mail everything to [email protected]
- Stuff to include in the e-mail: the fic (on mailing lists, people have actually forgotten to include it!), the name and e-mail address you go by if you're sending from a different e-mail addy, any sort of author bio you want to have on your author page, and any illustrations that go with the fic
- Text files (*.txt) are easiest to handle - you can paste the file into an e-mail, or attatch it - but if you want to attatch a fic in a different format, go ahead. (Keep in mind that I use MS Word 97 and I might not be able to read certain filetypes.)
- I am a proofreader, too! If you ask, I can proof your fic before posting it - tell me whether you want me to double-check with you on mistakes I found or just correct them and post the fic! (I'll correct little stuff if I catch it - like misspelled words that MS Word doesn't catch, taught vs. taut or site vs. sight, etc)
- Please format fics properly -_-;; Double line paragraph breaks are very beneficial to the poor archivist. If your fic has no paragraphs, but needs them, I will not post it until it is fixed.
