I'm a freak XD I spent two weekends, $30, and several hours of pricking my fingers with a needle and made this costume. The hat should be black. Maybe it will become so if I figure out how to dye it or something. Ain't it spiffy? The pictures are evil because I hate doing pictures, I never smile right...oh well. Look, it's Meerey!
I went with the Pokemon Special manga style for Generic!Rockets (because their scarves are cool ^_~) except that I decided against gloves because they tend to get hot very fast, and I couldn't find any white boots so I'm wearing plain black army boots. Perhaps by A-kon I'll get my friend's sister to teach me how to make shoe covers.
I have a different style of hat because the stores around here are stupid and don't sell the Team Rocket silly hat. They're very annoying.

These pictures were taken by my little brother, outside, with our family's digital camera. It was too sunny, so there's too much light and it washes me out, but oh well.
I hate the pose on the left side, but the right one is slightly better. I have a silly expression on my (mostly washed out by the sun) face, though.

Now I've ditched trying to get my little brother to take good pictures and instead turned on the timer on the digital camera and started shooting in my room. I like taking pictures by myself, I can get sillier without feeling silly in front of my brother o.o;
Closer to the camera, the details of the costume are clearer (also helps that I'm not trying to get a full body shot anymore), so you can see all my nifty accessories ^_^ I'm happy I had that Pokeball lying around...used to house an Eevee keychain, but the poor thing got lost >_< Had to shove a lump of tacky poster-hanging stuff into the catch mechanism so it wouldn't fly open and fall off the keychain I attatched it to (that's why the Eevee got lost, the ball would always fly open...)

Cute pose time! (hee, you can see one of my Weiss Kreuz posters behind my head...) Yah, yah, I had to do the V pose. Just had to. Cosplay requirement and all that. *hangs head in shame for being such a sheep*
La, I like my belt *_* I sewed white fabric around a belt I already owned and it came out nifty-keen. I had to sew belt-loops into the pants I had, too, 'cause they're just elastic-waist workout pants ^^; My fingers hurt like hell from all that sewing (the red R was painstakingly sewn on stitch by tiny stitch by hand especially so there'd be no seam showing...and because I had no red thread anyway, so I was using black...) but it was fun!
Yay...I'm done now, at any rate x_@ Unless I should decide I need to make white shoe covers to mock up some white boots...and gloves, oy ^_~
