For You

do you know what you do
how you light me on fire
a burn that i crave
like summer after a long winter
you fill me
no corner left bare
smiles come from you
for you
your face
smell
embrace
are burned in my minds eye
when everything is cold
unforgiving
and dark
you are a warm light
lifted up my heart learns to fly
i long for your fingertips
dancing on my skin
your lips to take in mine
nothing was like this before
before you
...it was nothing
now there is everything
in you

Home Sweet Home

like water in the dry unforgiving desert blistering under the sun
it soaks quickly and quietly into the places no one can see
useless energy is spent to dig and pick they layers away
nothing can survive here
nothing wants to
left all alone and wondering
quietly the darkness comes
sweet relief
things begin to come alive again
the unforgiving can once again forgive
harshness of the light melts away
like the sun when the darkness comes
they layers fall away
revieling the life force hidden
that which nurtures and provides once again is known
life flourishes here
and love returns
then as quickly as it left the demon angels rears its face
its cursed smile as innocent terror
eyes of loving betrayal
fear it always forgive it not
always to be the hell wrapped around heaven
to stand in the way, its only desire
cooing sweetness of lies
understood never
the layers raise back covering the lifeless
cries of mourning for that inside
till the darkness which is savior finds its way back
bringing with it the only love left
it is brought back to where no one can see
