An exterior silence of the lips and the words in order to
favor the INTERIOR SILENCE.
-Make silence your daily preoccupation; put a break to your
imagination.
-Plunge your soul into this solitude without voices in a personal encounter with God.
You will see clearly your past and the future that is before
you. You will understand the great realities of your life.
In the silence you will hear clearly God’s Word addressed to
you. The deeper your silence will be, the
clearer God’s Word will become, the more it will penetrate into your soul.
Christ will talk to you through His messengers: the e-evangelizers and all
those who will communicate to you in His name. Listen to them. It will be
Christ’s message for you and to you.
Days of silence, yes!!! But not days of dumbness. The Word
of God comes to you to urge you to give an answer to open a dialogue with God.
We speak a lot, too much with men, very little with
ourselves, nothing with God. In these days, we
will reverse the situation: we will speak a lot with God, little with
ourselves, nothing with men…
God is more important, more interesting, and wiser than all
men. This dialogue with God is called PRAYER. Speak to Him, your Father, with Christ, your Brother of your short and colorful life…
Discuss with them your problems of today and of tomorrow.
At times, it will be a spontaneous, easy dialogue, other
times it will become difficult… it is not always easy to place ourselves in contact with God: You have to try without giving up. Try it!!!
